How is sugaring different than waxing?
Sugar - Applied at room temperature & will never burn or peel the skin.  It is water soluble, and may be washed off with warm water. Sugar is a natural exfoliant & removes hair in the direction it grows.
Wax - Applied at a high temperature. Not only does the wax have a chance to burn the skin, but wax also removes the hair against the direction of growth, making it a more painful process.  The hair needs to be longer to remove, unlike sugar.
How long does the hair need to be to get sugared?
The hair should be about 1/8”, or about the height of 4 stacked dimes.

If it’s your first time and have been shaving, allow the hair to grow out for 8-10 days.

How do I prevent ingrown hairs?
Exfoliate every 2-3 days with a mitt/glove, not a loofa. Make sure to moisturize the skin after showering or swimming. Also, try to soak in dead sea salts right after your appointment.
How often should I get sugared?
Most clients visit every 3-4 weeks. After repeated treatments, hair regrowth will begin to decline and visits can be extended to 5-6 weeks.
